AI Consultant for Business Law Firms

Your law firm bought AI But your attorneys are not sure how to use it effectively

I work with corporate and M&A law firms whose attorneys are buried in paperwork. I build custom deal workflows on the AI they already have so their team can take on more clients without working nights and weekends.

Most firms use only a fraction of what their AI can do. In a 15-minute call, I’ll show you two or three workflows that could change how your team handles deals.

  • Captured Expertise

    mapped 100+ rule combinations
    into one playbook

  • AI Workflows

    built AI systems
    from expert methods

  • Law Degree

    trained to think
    with legal precision

  • Confidentiality

    trusted for 3 years
    with highly confidential data

  • Practical AI

    prepared filings accurately
in a fraction of the time

  • Standard Practice

    documented, implemented,
    and refined every function

  • Follow-Through

    built and ran it myself,
    then stayed through the hand-off

  • Long-Term Partnership

    co-owned a business 50/50
for 13 years, until my partner retired

  • Due Diligence

took reach from 5 to 50 states
    by testing one assumption

  • Systems Thinking

    connected 5 functions
    into one efficient system

  • Data-Driven

    proved each idea small
    before scaling what worked

The Alignment

I work with established deal practices

This is for you if

Your firm already pays for AI such as Copilot, ndMAX, CoCounsel or others.

A few lawyers use it, while the rest of the team works as it always has.

More deals still mean longer hours or more hires.

Your practice handles a steady flow of deals.

Tools like Harvey cost too much to give every attorney a seat.

You don’t have a large innovation team to build this.

I partner with practice leaders, managing partners, COOs, and innovation leaders, and build every system with the attorneys who will use it.

Illustration: two associates working late among stacks of binders and marked-up contracts, a closed laptop at the edge of the table, city lights through the windows.

The Challenge

The tools are in place but the systems aren’t

Your attorneys have AI but aren’t sure how to use it effectively, and deals still run on individual habits and buried know-how.

We’ve got a Copilot license for everyone, and nothing has changed.

We spend whole weeks mining information from data rooms.

Too many junior hours get written off before the bill goes out.

Finding the right precedent depends on who remembers the last deal.

Our juniors send us AI changes they can’t explain.

Associates leave our privileged network for ChatGPT because it knows them better.

The technology rarely fails on its own. What’s usually missing is a system built around how your best attorneys handle deals, with their standards and strongest precedent available to the whole team inside the firm’s own AI.

Meanwhile, clients are watching. 77% say it is very important, or even essential, that the firms they work with use AI to improve quality. Only 5% say most or all of their firms do.

The Results

The same team takes on more deals without working nights and weekends

Fewer junior hours get written off, and more billed time is collected.

Associates spend less time mining information from data rooms.

Your whole team works from one AI system instead of a few people trying tools.

Attorneys reach for the firm’s own AI first because it works the way they do.

Each new deal starts from your strongest precedent.

AI explains every change so newer associates can understand and learn.

And your best attorneys’ standards stay with the firm even when people move on.

The Method

Your firm’s AI investment becomes one system your whole team uses

Each of the four stages ends with a deliverable your practice can put to use, whether or not you continue to the next one.

What exactly can AI do for your practice?

Here’s a sample deal from the first NDA to the closing checklist, showing what AI handles at each step and where your attorneys check its work.

  1. A crowded desk: an overflowing inbox, chat and spreadsheets on screen, stacks of tabbed documents and a handwritten time log.

    Stage 1

    Assess

We look at how your practice runs today: where attorney hours go, including time that’s written off or never billed, how AI is actually being used, where know-how lives only in people’s heads, and where client confidentiality needs stronger protection. Your findings report then lays out the opportunities and risks, what stays with your attorneys, and a 90-day plan that shows what to change first and what each change is worth to the firm.

  2. A deal workflow designed on screen and sketched on paper: incoming work, organize, AI first pass, attorney review, approved output, with firm knowledge feeding the AI step.

    Stage 2

    Architect

We meet with the attorneys, paralegals and staff who handle each part of a deal to map how it really moves, and we capture how your strongest attorneys handle it in a written playbook. Then I design the AI system around that playbook, workflow by workflow, including where your attorneys review and approve, and you decide which workflows we build first.

  3. The same deal workflow running on screen, beside a book titled The Method Playbook and a purchase agreement.

    Stage 3

    Implement

I organize your precedents and the past deals your partners marked up into one library the AI can learn from, build each workflow into the AI your firm has approved, and test it with your team on a few current deals. Then I personally guide every attorney until they’ve mastered it, so the whole team works to one standard.

  4. A workflow performance view showing cycle time, review queue and completion above the deal workflow.

    Stage 4

    Optimize

We measure each workflow against the baseline, so you can show partners and clients exactly what changed. I keep the system current as your practice grows, adding what your newest deals teach it and updating it as new AI capabilities become ready for legal work.

The Principles

The difference is the design not another AI rollout

AI can get things wrong, just as people can, which is why it never runs on its own. It drafts and flags, your attorneys decide, and every answer shows where it came from and why.

The AI follows your firm’s standard

I document how your best attorneys review a draft, where they hold firm and what each client has accepted in past deals, giving the AI your own playbook instead of generic market terms.

Everything stays inside the AI you already pay for

Instead of moving your work onto a new platform, I build on the tools your firm has already approved, keeping privileged client information inside your own network.

Every result is measured

We measure each workflow before and after to show your return, what to improve next, and what changed for partners and clients.

The Testimonials

The people I’ve built systems with share what changed for them

From my work with teams where confidentiality, accuracy and follow-through mattered most.

Because of Yulia’s work, most of our billing cycle now runs automatically, without anyone needing to touch it.

I worked closely with Yulia for almost three years, and together we built our company’s revenue cycle management. She led our billing team and took over the entire billing process, making it organized and clear: everyone knew what needed to be done and how to do it.

What set her apart was how she worked with engineering. Together we dug into the main problems her team faced, found the right technical solutions, and built those processes directly into our system. Yulia has a strong technical understanding, and her instinct is always to automate.

She was quick to adopt AI and agents in her work. It made her much faster, and she solved problems we couldn’t have imagined solving just a year earlier.

Above all, Yulia is a genuinely kind person and a real pleasure to work with.

Rani R.VP R&D

Yulia doesn’t bring technology for its own sake. She finds the real problem and fixes it.

When Yulia joined us, we were a fast-growing company running on processes that hadn’t kept up with our growth. Work depended on manual steps and tribal knowledge, and important things were easy to miss. Most of us had simply gotten used to it.

Yulia didn’t. She asked why things worked the way they did, mapped what was really happening, and redesigned the processes behind it, bringing in AI and automation where it made sense. She moved fast, and the impact showed quickly: clearer workflows, fewer things falling through the cracks, and more capacity for the team to focus on what actually mattered.

What makes Yulia special is that she combines deep, hands-on knowledge of AI with real business sense and genuine care for the people doing the work.

Nadav S.VP of Product

Yulia built processes anyone could pick up and follow, which is rarer than it sounds.

Yulia joined while I was building out our revenue cycle and credentialing functions, and she quickly became a big part of how both came together. When I gave her something, I knew it was handled: no follow-up, no checking in, it just came back done.

I went from fielding billing questions every day to barely thinking about them. Things kept running whether or not she was in the room.

She’s one of the people I’ve most enjoyed working with. If you need someone to take a messy process off your plate and hand it back better, call Yulia.

Jessie D.Ops & Finance Leader

Now the time I spend on forms and Excel sheets has been cut by up to 50%, so I can send applications faster, stay on top of every case, and take on urgent requests without stress.

Before Yulia stepped in, much of my credentialing work was manual: filling out the same information on application after application, updating Excel sheets by hand, and keeping track of where every application stood. It took up a huge part of my day.

Yulia helped us bring AI into our credentialing process, and together we built a project that helps me fill out forms and spreadsheets and track applications in one organized system. She taught me how to use it confidently, step by step.

Working with Yulia was a joy. She’s patient, explains things clearly, and genuinely cares about making her team’s work easier.

Epi C.Contracting and Credentialing Specialist

Yulia is very helpful and knowledgeable and I appreciate how she makes AI feel practical and useful rather than complicated.

Before many tasks required manual work and took up a lot of time, especially when organizing information, preparing documents, and making sure processes were clear. She helped me understand how to use AI in practical ways, not just for generating ideas or writing but also for building things that I can actually use in my day to day work.

What I appreciate most is that Yulia showed me that I don’t have to rely on AI for everything. It is about knowing when to use it, how it can help and when human judgment and checking are still important.

Having these tools and systems in place makes my work more manageable and gives me more time to focus on other things that need my attention.

The Founder

The best systems are built with the people who will use them, not bought off the shelf.

I learned that from 20 years of running my own business.

What I love most is watching people light up when they are finally free of tedious tasks and can return to the work they care about. For attorneys, that means practicing law, not sorting through hundreds of contracts in a data room. AI makes that possible in ways we’ve never had before. I’ve studied it since it first came out, and it’s getting better every day. The firms that embrace it now are setting the pace for everyone else, and those are the firms I most enjoy working with.

That’s why I design the systems alongside your team, shaped around the way your best attorneys already handle deals. My legal training keeps me precise: we test on past deals first, your attorneys make the final calls, I install the systems and train your team until everyone feels confident using them. When your team realizes AI is handling most of the work they used to dread and they light up, I know we’ve done it right.

The Answers

Questions you may be asking

Having AI already is a strong foundation. Usually some attorneys use it while others don’t, and even the strongest users work their own way instead of from your firm’s best practices. I build those practices into your AI, so your whole team works from them, with results you can measure.

Confidentiality and privilege shape the design from the first day. Everything runs inside the tools and rules your firm has already approved, your IT and risk teams stay involved the whole way, and you can always see who checked what.

The AI gets things wrong sometimes, just as people do, which is why your attorneys always make the final calls. Before your team relies on any workflow, I train the AI on past deals your attorneys already marked up, then we test it together on a few current deals and give it more responsibility only after verifying its accuracy.

Saving time doesn’t have to cost you billable hours, because what it saves is mostly time clients won’t pay for: written-off junior hours, precedent searches and deal administration. That means more of what your team bills gets collected, and they can take on more deals without working nights and weekends.

AI won’t replace your attorneys, because what clients pay for is their judgment, and judgment stays human. What AI takes on are the repetitive parts of a deal, so your team spends more of their time on the decisions that matter.

An AI class teaches generic software, and then everyone goes back to old habits. I design a custom system together with your team, install it in your firm, and train everyone on their own deals, personally guiding them through each step until they’ve mastered it.

No, I don’t sell AI software. I build on the AI your firm already pays for and has approved, whether that’s Copilot, ndMAX, CoCounsel, Harvey or another, keeping your team on the tools they already know. If your firm is looking for new AI, I’ll recommend the tools that best fit how your practice works.

During the call, I show you two or three intelligent workflows that could change how your team handles deals, and we talk about what a system shaped around your practice might look like. You’ll leave with a clearer picture of what’s possible, and whether I’m the right person to help you build it.
